3D Digitization / Reverse Engineering
How does 3D digitization work?
In 3D digitization, a physical object is captured by a 3D scanner and converted into a digital 3D model. This model can then be used for various applications, such as reverse engineering, quality assurance, or product development.
Focus of 3D Digitization
Our focus is on providing you with fast and precise 3D scanning to make product development more efficient. We rely on state-of-the-art technologies and experienced 3D measurement technicians to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
The Importance and Benefits of Digitizing Components
We digitize various objects such as components, prototypes, and tools for the automotive, medical technology, mechanical engineering, and many other industries. Digitization allows us to perform a more thorough analysis of the components and achieve higher quality in production. In addition, 3Ddigitization enables usto perform reverse engineering to optimize or replicate existing parts.
We use a strip projection scanner to digitize internal and external contours quickly and accurately:
- Reverse Engineering / Conversion to a standard CAD surface description (STEP/IGES, etc.)
- 3D Scanning with STL Output
- False-color analysis
- Analysis of 2D and 3D Dimensions
