Testing Laboratory

Measurement Center

To ensure measurement results with low measurement uncertainty, the quality of the laboratory is of crucial importance. Measurement results are negatively affected by external factors such as temperature fluctuations, sunlight, unstable humidity, shocks, ground vibrations, etc.

To ensure protection against these influences, all of our measurements are performed in a climate-controlled test chamber that complies with Quality Class 3 as defined by VDI/VDE 2627.

Temperature and Humidity Logging

The climate in our measurement room is constantly monitored and recorded to ensure the reliability of your measurement results at all times.

Determination of the Measurement Uncertainty of Coordinate Measurements

Determining measurement uncertainty is a fundamental requirement for obtaining comparable measurement results, which are necessary for assessing the suitability of test processes. A measured value is meaningful only if it is accompanied by a statement of measurement uncertainty.

If the measurement task requires it, our measurement specialists will calculate the measurement uncertainty for functionally critical test characteristics.

Computed Tomography

Just like the human body, plastic components can also be X-rayed to reveal weak spots and defects without physical contact.

Our specialists have several analysis options at their disposal, ranging from a clear, easy-to-understand color-coded representation of the geometric comparison to a detailed initial sample inspection report.

Using the same digital data set, computed tomography makes it possible to easily visualize and measure structures that would otherwise require the destruction of the components when using conventional coordinate measuring machines.
